To complement her hand-made curtains, Gabrielle sources and supplies a wide range of top quality curtain poles and tracks. Her team can help you select the right product for each situation. Tracks are generally chosen from the Silent Gliss range of Swiss-made aluminium profiles. They may be manual, corded or electric and will be selected to perform well based on the length of track installed and the size and weight of the drapes. Many of the profiles can be custom-bent on-site to fit curves, bays and arches. Heavy wooden poles provide a very contempory and elegant solution to curtain hanging. We have access to a very wide range of chunky poles unavailable elsewhere locally. A pole of 40mm, 50mm or 65 mm can be stained, waxed, painted or even hand decorated with motifs from the curtain fabric to create a stunning and very individual combination. Advice on the selection and fixing of all the ranges can be given and fitting carried out if required. Nearly all products are made-to-measure and are ordered after a site visit. Certain windows are best suited to blinds. Gabrielle can assist you to choose a pattern from a very wide range of suitable fabics and then make up a blind of a type or style to suit the window. Often in a kitchen or bathroom a Roman or Soft Roman blind will provide a neat, tidy yet attractive window treatment. Roman blinds can be made from many weights of fabric, are usually lined and can be used as a standalone window treatment or added behind curtains and pelmets. Roller blinds can be chosen from a wide range of stock fabrics or can be created by laminating a fabric of your choosing. A recent innovation is the use of voile fabrics where privacy is required from time-to-time. All blinds are made-to-measure and the range includes blackout fabrics, metal and wooden venetian blinds and specialist blinds such as for Velux roof lights. |
